NEI
GRANTS:
APPLY
The New Economy Initiative for Southeast Michigan awards grants to support the efforts of nonprofit organizations and governing agencies to transform the economy of southeast Michigan. Grants are available for a variety of activities, but proposed activities must be focused on the three modules of activities as outlined in our grantmaking overview.
Potential applicants are encouraged to learn about current NEI Grantees as our new grants will likely build upon successes as the initiative moves forward.
NEI welcomes your ideas. If you would like to submit a brief concept paper, outlining your grant idea, please contact an NEI representative at 313.961.6675 for further instruction.
Your idea will be reviewed by NEI staff. If there is a fit between your interests and NEI, you will be invited to submit a full application for consideration.
If you have any questions, potential applicants are welcome to call NEI staff at (313) 961-6675.
NEI welcomes the opportunity to learn more from you about the issues, challenges and opportunities in southeast Michigan.
Please note that NEI grants are only available to 501(c)(3) public charities, as well as any local governmental agency. NEI grants are limited to programs and activities that occur in the seven counties of southeast Michigan (Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, St. Clair, Lapeer, Livingston and Washtenaw).
