Event Description

The fact is over half of the people who identify as designers are women, but they make up just over 10% of design leadership. Centered on the notions that our truths are passed from one generation to the next through the stories we tell and that “you can’t be what you can’t see”, our storytelling evening gives a platform to 5 female design leaders to give a peek into their lives and careers with inspiring, surprising, and compelling stories on the subject of “curiosity”. These women have breached the threshold of becoming leaders in their respective design fields and have stories of challenge and triumph to share with the next generation of designers. 10 minutes isn’t nearly enough time for each of them to tell their story but we promise they’re going to share some of the best parts.
