Michigan’s Social Entrepreneurship challenge is back again. Individuals and teams can apply for up to $60,000 in prizes.
The challenge aims to promote social entrepreneurship across the state. They define this as “an emerging idea or existing venture with a sustainable solution to a clearly defined social problem.” This can be in health, urban revitalization, education, and more.
Last year they gave out almost $100,000 in prizes, and over 160 teams participated. Check out last year’s winners.
Registration opens today and will close April 30th. Registered individuals and teams are asked to complete submissions by May 30th in order to compete. Get started today by registering online for the challenge.
